Three Up Three Down

This is a super popular set of stairs/manual pad in the Mission district of San Francisco. You've undoubtedly seen it in almost any video with an SF part. It consists of three stairs up, a long flat manual pad, and three steps down. It's on a slight downhill grade, so it's easy to hop on and do tricks across without losing momentum. This is at 14th and Mission, pretty much in the middle of the city.

This is another spot where you're likely to find other people skating (and meet lots of other "interesting" people too). There's not much to it, but for some reason it's super fun to skate. It's one of the few places in the city where you generally won't get kicked out. Downside: This place is pretty dirty. Make sure you've had your tetanus shot. |
