5th St and Harrison St, Berkeley, CA 94710, USA

Berkeley Skate Park is a 18,000 sq. ft. "Street-Plaza" style skatepark designed by the talented team at SITE Design Group. More information can be found at SITE's Berkeley Skate Park project page or at www.cityofberkeley.info.

Berkeley is a fun skatepark with something for everyone. One side of the street section has banks, handrails, ledges, flatbars, etc. The other side of the street area has 5-6 ft transitions with coping. The big bowl is about 9' deep with vert. Pads are required. The park has lights, and closes around 9:30pm.

This park was closed for a while a few years ago, supposedly because the park was build on top on some kind of toxic waste, and it was seeping up into the bowl from the ground. Apparently that's all cleaned up now.
